Day 11 of Wyrd and Wonder and we’re looking at Swords! Now, there are a lot of shows, movies and books with fascinating swords but for the sake of this post, I’m going to talk about my favourite cool magical (or non-magical) swords that I’ve come across!
TV Shows
Show: Word of Honor
Zhou ZiShu has a brilliant sword in this drama, a flexible sword that he often keeps wrapped around his waist. Now technically, the sword itself isn’t magical…but I adore it nonetheless. It also reminded me of the Urumi, a South Indian whip sword that I had seen in a few movies growing up so it got bonus nostalgia points from me!

Book: Realm of Ash (The Books of Ambha #2)
This is a book that’s been on my TBR for about 2 years now! I read Empire of Sand in 2021 and have been on the lookout for Realm of Ash for a while and finally got my hands on a copy! Excited to read it soon!
