Book: Wyrd & Wonder 2023 Day 1 – Best Laid Plans

The blog has been very quiet this year as I wandered my way through the aisles of bookstores and rediscovered my love for reading. The last few months (2 in particular) I have been devouring books and leafing through pages of new worlds remembering why I truly love words as much as I do…but that is a post for later. For now, I present to you my goal for the month…to participate for the first time in Wryd & Wonder 2023!

For those (like me) discovering this wonderful monthlong campaign for the first time, join me on this exciting journey through the realm of Miki’s fantasy shelves (both past and present!)

The prompt for the first day is Best Laid Plans and I’m using the opportunity to share my TBR/TBW for the month! As it is part of the Wyrd & Wonder 2023, this month will be (mostly) fantasy! So without further ado, here are my books and shows for the month!

Title: The Wizard of Earthsea

Author: Ursula Le Guinn

Title: The Merciless Ones

Author: Namina Forna

Title: The Final Empire

Author: Brandon Sanderson

I’ve got plans for a few more books that are a part of the various tours I am doing this month so here’s to a fulfilling month!

Title: Critical Role Campaign 1 Vox Machina

(To be fair, I’ve been watching this for a while, but there’s…a lot so continuing it this month!)

Title:  Suzume no Tojimari

Title: Shadow and Bone

Until next time!

  1. We’re so glad you’re joining us this year! I hope you have a good time 🙂 Are you reading A Wizard of Earthsea for the first time? I really enjoyed it, though it took me a while to first get into it and I’d be curious to reread it soon…
